Delaware River Waterfront Corporation has planned a novel way to celebrate Memorial Day for the Philadelphia region. Named as Delaware River Day many boaters will be seen floating their boats in waters on this occasion. Organized by the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, this will be a free event for the public
Enjoy this day with interactive activities like kayaking; life jacket fitting and musical entertainment. A new attraction - a fashion show, sponsored by Ship 484, Philadelphia Boat Supply, Streams Coleman and Aero Marine - will showcase water related gear. The kids will also get the opportunity to enjoy with events like face painting, fishing and vessel tours.
